PEROSH celebrates its 15th anniversary this year! 13 OSH research institutes from 12 European countries are collaborating together and achieve impressive results. Our member institutes are collaborating now in 7 joined research projects and 4 new ones are to be launched soon. These projects are realized with our own funding and lead to publications, tools, congresses and follow up projects. Have a look at the PEROSH projects on our web site.
PEROSH also strongly influences research and policy priorities of the EU and national governments through its position papers. Last year some of our members advocated more attention to work related health and safety in the last working programs of HORIZON 2020 and in 2018 these members will advocate more attention to the future of work in the upcoming new EU research collaboration program FP9.
We had an interesting and motivating Research Exchange meeting in September 2017 in Sankt Augustin; more information can be found in this Newsletter and on our website. During the last half year PEROSH contributed to conferences and seminars with expert colleagues from many other countries.
During the World Congress in Singapore last year, the ILO presented an analysis of OSH networks in the world and we are proud to hear that PEROSH is considered to be one of the best developed networks.
Last year also saw an increase in so called secondment visits of our researchers to member institutes. PEROSH is facilitating these short of exchange visits through some additional funding. In this Newsletter you may find some short accounts of these exchange visits.
We have collected member news and other relevant news and I hope you will enjoy it. Follow us more extensively on Twitter and our Website.
