This seminar, organized by the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) with the support of INRS, discussed the EU-OSHA report “Priorities for occupational safety and health research in Europe: 2013 – 2020″ which aims at  facilitating better coordination of OSH research activities and more efficient allocation of resources in the coming years under four themes:

-Demographic change

-Globalisation and the changing world of work

-OSH research and safe new technologies

-Research into new or increasing exposures to chemical and biological agents

BAuA, IFA and FIOH – under the coordination of INRS – added an important contribution to the EU-OSHA report. The PEROSH report “Sustainable workplaces of the Future” was also one of the key documents used to prepare the the EU-OSHA report.

The PEROSH members BAuA, HSL, FIOH, IFA, INAIL, INRS, NRCWE, STAMI and TNO actively contributed to the seminar in order to increase the visibility and importance of coordinating OSH research and increasing funding. The PEROSH members will continue to proactively cooperate with the EU-OSHA agency to further enhance European evidence-based research collaboration on OSH.

The proceedings  of the seminar are now  available on the EU-OSHA agency website:
