General information

The European strategy on Health and Safety at Work (2007–12) aimed at lowering the amount of occupational accidents in the  European Union with 25% by 2012. The aims of this PEROSH project are to promote a zero accident vision at workplaces and to exchange European experiences in this field in order to contribute to the European strategy objectives.

The PEROSH project on ”The Success factors for the Implementation of the Zero accidents Vision”, financed by DGUV (Germany), was launched in December 2013. The participating research institutes each co-funded 10% of their activities.

TNO coordinated the project.

Project period: 1 December 2013 – 31 July 2015

The aim of the project was to better understand the factors that contribute to successes with accident prevention in companies that have committed themselves to a ‘zero accident vision’ (ZAV), whereby the focus will be on communication, culture and learning.
