Webinar on the results of HBM4EU E-waste study aimed at industry, worker’s representatives, trade unions, regulatory agencies and policy makers
Workers involved in the processing of electronic waste (e-waste) are potentially exposed to toxic chemicals. If exposure occurs, this may result in uptake and potential adverse health effects.
This webinar informs on the results of the HBM4EU study on occupational exposures in E-waste management, which was conducted in eight European countries. This exploratory study was part of the European Human Biomonitoring Initiative (HBM4EU), designed to create new policy relevant data on chemical exposures in Europe.
The webinar will be held on November 8th at 10.00-12.00 CET (11.00-13.00 Helsinki EET)
