Wednesday 18 December 2024 14:30 – 15:30 CET
Job quality is under strain globally. The total number of fatal and non-fatal work-related accidents, as well as work-related diseases, is increasing – 2.93 million workers die each year as a result of work-related factors. Additionally, heat stress is increasingly affecting workers worldwide. Social dialogue plays a crucial role in strengthening occupational safety and health.
During the webinar, experts from the ILO and OECD will discuss recent findings on occupational safety and health risks and the role of social dialogue, for example, in the context of policy development. Furthermore, the Institut pour une culture de sécurité industrielle (ICSI), a partner that recently joined the Global Deal, will highlight key insights from its recent focus group on social dialogue and workplace safety.
