The International Francophone Network for Occupational Health and Safety Research (RIF-RSST) is a collaborative initiative bringing together institutions, researchers and practitioners from French-speaking countries committed to improving occupational safety and health (OHS). The network is supported by the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of Hassan II University (Casablanca), INRS, and the IRSST, the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en Santé et en Sécurité du Travail (Montreal).
It was officially launched on May 2, 2024 in Marrakech at ICOH2024.
The main objectives of the RIF-SST are close to the PEROSH ones, i.e. to strengthen cooperation between French-speaking players:
- To accelerate the production of OHS knowledge.
- To facilitate the dissemination and exchange of knowledge.
The network is organizing its first conference in Casablanca, on May 29 and 30, 2025. It will take place in a hybrid format, with webcasting (in French only). Two themes are highlighted: informal work and migrant workers. Four master classes will also be organized (face-to-face only). The registration (free of charge) is opened on the website.
