The International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH) will hold their 32nd Conference in Dublin. The conference theme will be “Occupational Health and Wellbeing: linking research to practice”. The conference will have many different elements to it which including keynote speeches, semi-plenary sessions, symposia, special sessions, poster sessions and a marketplace.

Special session: Roadmap on carcinogens – EU and national initiatives

Cancer is estimated to be the leading cause of work-related deaths in the EU. Six key European partners have therefore subscribed to a voluntary action scheme to help combat work-related cancer. This “roadmap on carcinogens ” aims to raise awareness and practical knowledge exchange. EU-OSHA and its Dutch partners will update the audience about the roadmap’s activities and those of the 2018/19 Healthy Workplaces Campaign on dangerous substances . This will be complemented by a report from the workplace level, and the audience will be actively engaged in discussions about future priorities and challenges in this important field of occupational safety and health action.
