2026 SkiLMeeT Conference: Workers, Firms, and Skills in the Digital and Green Transition, Brussels, 22-23 October 2026

The EU Horizon project “Skills for Labour Markets in the Digital and Green Transition” (SkiLMeeT) invites
submissions of papers or extended abstracts on topics related to:

  • The effects of the digital and/or green transition on workers, firms, and skills
  • Measurement and analysis of skill demand and supply
  • Skill gaps and skill shortages arising from the digital and/or green transition
  • Labour-market policies to address skill gaps and shortages
  • Education and training measures to mitigate skill gaps and shortages

The conference will feature keynote lectures and contributed sessions.

The keynote lectures will be given by: Ines Helm (JKU Linz) and Oskar Nordström Skans (Uppsala University)

Submission Details:

  • Please submit a full paper or an extended abstract via the ConfTool System:
    https://www.skilmeet.eu/conftool/ by midnight CET, 10 May 2026.
  • Authors of accepted papers will be notified by 17 June 2026.
  • All presenters must register by 30 June 2026.
