Ensuring safe and healthy work in a changing climate

When: 25 April | 13:30 – 15:00 CET
Where: ILO HQ Auditorium (Geneva) and online (live.ilo.org)

As climate change intensifies, workers around the globe find themselves at increased risk of exposure to hazards such as excessive heat, ultraviolet radiation, extreme weather events, air pollution, vector-borne diseases and agrochemicals.

The aim of this global event is to explore the impacts of climate change on workers’ safety and health, bringing attention to the global health threat workers are currently facing.
On this occasion, the International Labour Organization (ILO) will launch a NEW global report on “Ensuring safety and health at work in a changing climate”.

The global event will bring together experts and world of work stakeholders to discuss the latest findings and share experiences and insights.

If you would like to join in person, please contact the ILO SafeDay team by the 17th of April at safeday@ilo.org.

Interpretation will be available in English, French and Spanish.
