The National Institute for Safety and Health at Work (INSST) and the Catalan Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (ICSSL) are organising the 6th International Congress on Women, work and health – Making Risks Visible, Protecting Rights a leading forum for analysis, exchange and knowledge generation on the relationship between work, health and gender from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The Congress will take place on 28, 29 and 30 April 2027 at the INSST headquarters in Barcelona (C/ Dulcet, 2-10).
The congress aims to make occupational risks visible through a sex-gender perspective, analyse their differential impacts and contribute to advancing the defence of rights in the field of work and health.
Call for papers
The call for abstracts for the 6th International Women, Work and Health Congress, to be held in Barcelona from April 28 to 30, 2027, is now open.
Oral communications and posters in Spanish and English will be accepted and evaluated by the International Scientific Committee.
The deadline for submitting abstracts will remain open until December 1, 2026.
Accepted contributions may be published in the congress proceedings, provided they are presented in person.
