Exciting Developments from the Project Meeting in Paris
On November 15, 2024, key stakeholders from across Europe gathered in Paris for a pivotal project meeting. The event brought together experts from Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, France, England, and Sweden to discuss national reports and share insights on occupational safety and health in the context of COVID-19. This PEROSH joined research project started last year.
Highlights of the Meeting:
- National Reports: Each country presented their findings, revealing several recurring themes and valuable insights into how different nations responded to the pandemic’s challenges.
- Key Themes: The international report will focus on five main sections:
- Context: Technical and administrative responses to COVID-19.
- Measures Taken: Organizational and psychosocial challenges addressed.
- Effects: Sustainable measures and long-term impacts on occupational safety and health.
- Retrospective Findings: Evaluations of national responses and strategies.
- Results: Recommendations for future health crises and PEROSH’s role.
Collaborative Efforts:
- England, France, and Poland will tackle the context and measures taken.
- Sweden, Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands will focus on the effects, retrospective findings, and overall results.
- A scientific journalist will compile all parts into a comprehensive final report.
