PEROSH was established in 2003 with the goal of promoting collaboration and coordination among European research institutions in the field of occupational safety and health. The network aims to enhance the quality and relevance of OSH research, as well as to contribute to the development and implementation of effective policies and practices to improve workplace safety and health.
The member institutions of PEROSH collaborate on various research projects, share knowledge and resources, and work towards common goals in the field of occupational safety and health. By fostering cooperation among these institutions, PEROSH aims to address emerging challenges and promote the well-being of workers across Europe.
At the occasion of celebrating our anniversary in Stockholm on 6 September 2023, Stefan Olsson, Deputy Director-General, Directorate-General for Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion, gave a welcome address to the congress. This is an interesting talk on the relation between science and policy making.
