PEROSH and some of its members are sponsors of the Roadmap on Carcinogens. Below there is information on the new strategy of the Roadmap and you can have a look at a nice animation video.
On 9 and 10 November 2020 the German EU Presidency Conference ‘STOP Cancer at Work’ was successfully organized. The German Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (BMAS) and the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (BAuA) focussed the European Community’s attention on the still highly relevant issue of work-related cancer and deaths.
During this online conference, our strategy for 2020-2024 has been launched. With new ambitions and focus the Roadmap continues its quest to prevent exposure to carcinogens at work. From 2021 we will start running twelve projects to gain further impact, all to help prevent workers from getting exposed to carcinogens. These, so called, ‘challenges’ will all contribute in reaching our four goals. The challenges are lead and executed by small teams of Roadmap partners. However, they need input from others to succeed. We therefore invite Roadmap-friends and relevant organisations from all over Europe to join one or more of these challenges and help completing them.
