Since 2015, BAuA has been conducting the BAuA-Working Time Survey, a representative panel survey of the working population in Germany with over 20,000 respondents. The aim of this panel survey, which takes place every two years, is to study the relationship between working time arrangements, other working conditions, and the health and satisfaction. In addition, it aims to identify trends in the working time realities in Germany.

The Research Data Centre of BAuA (BAuA-FDZ) provides access to data from the BAuA-Working Time Survey for external researchers for their own projects. Currently, scientific use files are available for five waves of the BAuA-Working Time Survey:

For all scientific use files, data documentation is available both in German and English. FDZ-BAuA provides syntax files (for Stata and SPSS) to assign English-language labels to the datasets.
