At its meeting in Lausanne on 20 May 2026, the PEROSH Scientific Steering Group (SSG) formally endorsed the transition of its chairmanship from Margrethe Schøning (STAMI) to Marjorie Fougère (INRS).
After two dedicated terms as chair, Margrethe Schøning hands over the baton with a strong legacy. Her leadership has been instrumental in strengthening scientific collaboration across the PEROSH network, driving the development of joint projects and fostering a dynamic and engaged SSG-community. In recognition of her outstanding contribution, she was presented with a PEROSH Award.
PEROSH expresses its sincere gratitude to Margrethe for her commitment, energy and vision over the past years. Her impact will continue to shape the network going forward.
At the same time, PEROSH warmly welcomes Marjorie Fougère as the new SSG Chair. With her experience and strong engagement in PEROSH activities, she is well positioned to guide the SSG in the next phase of its development.
