The Instituto Nacional de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (INSST) has recently launched the “Mi trabajo también es salud” campaign, which runs from June 15 to June 30, 2024. This initiative focuses on promoting health in the workplace, highlighting the importance of a healthy work environment for overall well-being and productivity.

Additionally, the INSST, in collaboration with the Instituto Vasco de Seguridad y Salud Laborales (OSALAN), organized the IX Encuentro Abierto de la Red Española de Empresas Saludables on June 14, 2024. This event emphasized the role of inclusive employment practices in promoting health within companies.

Furthermore, a technical seminar was held on June 6, 2024, at the Centro Nacional de Condiciones de Trabajo (CNCT) in Barcelona. The seminar addressed the risks associated with exposure to active pharmaceutical ingredients in both the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare settings. It aimed to enhance the protection of workers’ health and safety by discussing the management of these risks as the substances transition from pharmaceutical ingredients to potentially hazardous medications in healthcare environments.

For more details on these projects and other initiatives, you can visit the INSST website.
