The European Agency for Occupational Safety and Health (EU-OSHA) operates a database with resources about the management of risks from chemical agents at workplaces. Its main aim is to support OSH practitioners in companies by facilitating the access to information and tools that are useful for managing chemical risks in the workplace. Additional target groups include OSH consultants, occupational health physicians, employers or policy makers.
If you are looking for information on chemical risks in the workplace you can search the database and identify relevant guidance documents and tools and access them via the provided URLs.
The database includes more than 900 resources (websites, checklists, databases etc.). Each resource is briefly described in a short flow-text and keywords indicate what topics are addressed, e.g. activities, exposure pathway or prevention measures. Providers of resources include EU and Member State authorities, research institutions, international organisations, NGOs and business associations.
The database can be filtered using several categories, including “country”, “language”, “sector”, “prevention measures”, or topics such as “carcinogens” or “substitution”, or via a free-text search. The search results can be exported as csv for further analysis.
