How can we support longer, healthier and more sustainable working lives in an ageing Europe? The 3rd International PEROSH Conference on Prolonging Working Life, held in Leiden on 24-25 October 2024, brought together researchers, policymakers and occupational safety and health professionals to exchange the latest evidence and experiences on this important challenge.
PEROSH is pleased to announce that the Book of Abstracts from the conference is now available, together with a selection of downloadable presentations from the event. These resources provide valuable insights into factors that help older workers remain healthy, productive and engaged throughout their working lives, as well as innovative approaches to supporting sustainable employment across Europe.
The Prolonging Working Life network is one of PEROSH’s long-standing collaborative projects, bringing together leading European OSH institutes to advance research and knowledge exchange on labour market participation, healthy ageing and sustainable work.
We invite you to explore the conference materials and stay connected with this growing research community. Looking ahead, preparations are already underway for the 4th International PEROSH Conference on Prolonging Working Life, which will take place in Helsinki in 2027. The conference will provide another opportunity to discuss emerging evidence, strengthen international collaboration and shape future research and policy agendas aimed at enabling longer and healthier working careers.
