PEROSH is excited to announce that the National Institute of Occupational Health (STAMI) has been recognized as a leader in international research on work environment and occupational health. The Research Council of Norway’s recent evaluation deemed STAMI’s research world-class, highlighting its scientific excellence and societal impact.

Key Achievements

  • Significant Impact: The evaluation praised STAMI’s work on work-related cancer, sick leave and disability, workplace prevention, and health effects of nanoparticles.
  • High Scores: STAMI received 4 out of 5 points in research quality, institutional support, publication contributions, societal impact, and user involvement.

Bridging Science and Society

STAMI’s Director, Therese N. Hanvold, and Research Director, Dag Ellingsen, expressed pride in the recognition, emphasizing the institute’s success in combining scientific excellence with practical applications.
