Position: Research Fellow (100%)

Department: Health, Work, and Environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the IT department on the SICHEM project:
    • Define the scope and specifications of the TREXMO tool for integration into the SICHEM platform.
    • Identify exposure data sources and adapt TREXMO algorithms as needed.
    • Analyze tools for chemical substance mixtures and align them with SICHEM/TREXMO functionalities.
  • Participate in the PARC EU WP6.2.1 project:
    • Develop strategies for aggregating chemical exposure models.
    • Create simulation and analysis tools for aggregated assessments.
    • Interpret and analyze the obtained results.
  • Contribute to ongoing work and teaching in exposure modeling within the DSTE.

Your Profile:

  • Master’s degree in environment, physics, chemistry, or related fields.
  • Experience in chemical risk assessment.
  • Skills in Python, R, and simulation/modeling (e.g., Matlab, Stata).
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
