Digital technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and robotics are advancing at an accelerating pace and becoming increasingly pervasive in society. Ongoing technological innovation is changing the nature of work including how, where, and when we work. This is presenting new and emerging challenges and opportunities for health and safety. This presentation will discuss digital technologies and their possible impacts on health and safety in the context of their influence on ensuring a sustainable and prolonged working life. Any opinions and/or conclusions expressed, are those of the authors alone and do not necessarily reflect HSE policy.
